Vision Simulation: Illustrate a Recorded Pattern

A Visual Field Tracker map displays the points recorded during an experimental session. It tells a lot to doctors but probably much less about how you feel when your vision is not as good as it used to be.

Letting a friend, your partner or family member, understands what visual-field loss could actually mean in your everyday life is another story.

That's why Visual Field Tracker can generate a Visual Field Simulation.

You can upload your own image, and overlapping it with a result of the Visual Field test already performed, you can create an illustrative effect based on the points recorded in that session.

Vision Simulation turns the recorded pattern into an image that may be easier to discuss.

A face, a person walking along a street, an object on a table or part of the surrounding environment may suddenly become difficult to perceive.

Visual Field Tracker's Vision Simulation was created to help bridge that gap — turning an abstract visual-field map result into something that can be more easily understood and shared.

Vision Simulation is an interpretation based on user-recorded points. It is not evidence of visual-field loss and cannot reproduce a person's subjective visual experience.
